Sudoku is Adictive!

Web Sudoku

This puzzle is just way too adictive. I just wasted a couple of hours doing it and I intend to waste more time on it!

Songbird - Cross Platform Media Player

Songbird is a complete desktop media player or "jukebox" with a uniquely open approach to Internet digital media network services.

What is Songbird? | Songbirdnest.com

Here is an app to watch. Songbird is built on the Firefox Web browser but is a cross platform media player. I will definately try this when a public beta comes out.

Blinksale - Online Invoicing

Blinksale is perfect for anyone who needs to invoice customers and clients for services or products sold. As a design company, we created Blinksale with professional service industries in mind. Additionally, with time-billing invoices and product invoices, Blinksale is an excellent choice for attorneys, accountants, IT professionals, software developers, journalists, contractors, engineers, architects, videographers, and more. Basically, if you need to send invoices, Blinksale can work for you.

Blinksale | The easiest way to send invoices online

Here is an interesting web service. Blinksale is an invoicing service, you can create and send your invoices using a web browser. If I was still doing much consulting I would give it a try. They have a free package for under 3 clients, 3 invoices per month. Pretty good deal if you are starting to do some computer consulting. (Disclaimer: No affiliation and I haven't tried it.)

Internet Explorer 7 coming soon

Dean Hachamovitch, who leads the IE team, said that IE 7 will hit the beta trail "during the first calendar quarter of 2006."

Linux Pipeline | IE7 Slated For Early 2006 Public Beta

Looks like we will get a chance to see IE7 soon. Although I don't use IE, I am eager to see a version of IE that supports Web standards. That will help anyone who does web development since, once IE7 catches on, we will be able to forget about browser sniffing or using old methods just because of IE.

Del.icio.us

del.icio.us is a collection of favorites - yours and everyone else's. Use del.icio.us to: * Keep links to your favorite articles, blogs, music, restaurant reviews, and more on del.icio.us and access them from any computer on the web. * Share favorites with friends, family, and colleagues. * Discover new things. Everything on del.icio.us is someone's favorite - they've already done the work of finding it. Explore and enjoy.

del.icio.us/

Well, I have always thought it would be handy to have a place on the web where I could store my bookmarks. A Firefox extension provides some start at this but only for Firefox. So along comes del.icio.us, a place to keep all my book marks. Very cool! The only problem is that it is a pain to add them. If you can't just click a button, what good is it? So, now comes Flock, a web browser built on Firefox but integrates some cool stuff like del.icio.us bookmarks, blogging and who know what else. Good things are happening.

I'm Too Old For This

I think I am too old to be blogging. I didn't really feel old until I realized how much of the web I just don't get. I guess when you are older and have a family, the whole social network doesn't matter much. It is not like I have tons of freinds that I need to keep in touch with. In fact, it seems a little self gratifying. If I post it then I must have friends, right?
